Hans Lossberg is a high rank German officer of the Wehrmacht who is forced to agree to marry Louise, a lady of German aristocracy, daughter of a general who is considered hero of WW I.

Louise doesn’t care about her marriage, only about the appearance; she holds a lesbian affair with Margo, and at the same time with Wieland, an important boss of the Gestapo.

One day, Hans finds a woman, Inge, injured on the road. Inge then dies in Hans’s car, leaving some letters. Hans returns the documents to Inge’s family, and meets her sister, Anna. The family is on the blacklist of the Gestapo, as Anna’s father is considered a subversive element of the Nazi regime.

Hans, always backed up by the officials Klaus (Hristo Shopov) and Wilhelm, is sent to undertake a mission in Poland. The start of WW II is approaching.

Anna and Hans will fall in love, while Louise will plan her revenge on Anna's family using Wieland’s influence.
