Three families: The Tabakov, Andonov and lliev.
Everyone gathers to celebrate the 43rd birthday of the influential businessman Radoslav Tabakov. His eldest daughter, Maggie, has prepared a special surprise for the anniversary.
After the celebration, Maggie and her three cousins, George, Yana and Dimi, plead with their parents to let them go out for a while at night, to meet with their friends at a trendy bar.
When Katerina Andonova arrives later that night to pick them up, she finds that Dimi has quarrelled with another guy, in the place where they were having fun. But that’s not the worst part: Maggie has disappeared.
After moments of deep anguish for the family, the police appear at the scene, taking charge of what could be a difficult investigation for the police officers Polina Pavlova and Andrey Chernev.
The families feel overwhelmed with panic when they are called to recognise the presumed remains of the missing girl found in the woods.
When the police work delves into the lives of the three families, intimate problems are discovered, hidden relationships and unspeakable secrets, which reveal that the apparent harmony of these people was just fictional.
The complexity of the investigation and the anguish of the family members will lead to the visit of some of them to the psychologist Rumen Aleksiev (Hristo Shopov). Inside the walls of his practice the pyschologist will learn of information that none of his patients would have dared to confess, not even to their most loved ones.
